In November 2025 five young people from South Belfast Alternatives travelled to Kampala, Uganda to see what is possible when youth from the slums have the vision, determination and resilience to change their communities.
Emmanuel Trinity, Founder/CEO of era92 Group will share the story of his journey from street kid to award winning social entrepreneur. Local author and peacebuilder Tony Macaulay will share why he had the idea for an exchange between young people from Sandy Row and Kampala and he will interview the young people about their experience in Uganda.
