Stories of division, violence, and fear dominate our news cycles – both locally and globally. Discriminatory attacks against minorities and immigrants have become far too commonplace in Belfast.
It is easy to feel helpless and overwhelmed.
What can we do? And what is the church’s role in fighting discrimination? Dr Jemar Tisby (PhD) has spent his scholarly career seeking to address these questions. Author of bestselling books The Color of Compromise, The Spirit of Justice, and How to Fight Racism, Dr Tisby provides tangible steps to take to fight discrimination and protect democracy, both for individuals and for church leaders.
Ultimately, Dr Tisby’s message is one of hope that a better future is possible if we all journey together toward peace.
Join us on Racial Justice Sunday as we conclude the Four Corners Festival with a call to the onward journey toward love, justice, and peace in our city and beyond.
