Too often, conversations about disability in church life stop at ramps, pew spaces, or accessible toilets. But real inclusion goes deeper – it’s about belonging, dignity, and recognising the spiritual gifts disabled people bring to the life of the church.
In this interactive workshop, led by a wheelchair user and person of faith, participants will explore how churches can move beyond access towards genuine inclusion.
Through storytelling, reflection, and practical group exercises, faith leaders will be invited to challenge assumptions, learn from lived experience, and discover new ways to make their communities places where disabled people can flourish in worship, discipleship, and leadership.
